Overview
Yoon Ga-min has one dream and one problem: he wants to get into college, but studying is the one thing he cannot do. What he can do is fight, and at Yusung Technical High School — a school better known for its bullies than its exam results — that talent is both a blessing and a curse. Determined to turn things around, Ga-min forms a study group, gathering classmates who, like him, want a better future than the school’s reputation suggests. Protecting that group means standing up to the gangs and bullies who run the corridors, and every lesson becomes a battle in more ways than one. Based on a popular webtoon, Study Group is a high-energy school drama that mixes bone-crunching action with genuine heart, arguing that friendship, loyalty and sheer stubbornness can be just as powerful as a perfect grade.

Why Watch Study Group?
Study Group is worth watching because it commits fully to its gloriously absurd premise and then makes you care about it. The fight scenes are inventive and fun, the comedy lands, and beneath the chaos is a sincere story about students who refuse to be written off. Minhyun is hugely likeable as Ga-min, and the ensemble gives the study group a real sense of found family. If you want an action drama that is funny, uplifting and easy to binge, this is one of 2025’s most enjoyable surprises.
