Overview
Yun Dong-ju was once a boxing champion with a gold medal and a future that looked certain. Now, after injury, scandal and a long fall from grace, he is given an unlikely second chance: a place on a police special task force made up of former national athletes. His new colleagues are just as talented and just as bruised by life after sport, including sharp-shooting Ji Han-na, a fencer, a wrestler and a discus thrower, each carrying their own reasons for needing this job to work. Together they take on violent crime and powerful enemies who assume a team of ex-athletes will be easy to break. Good Boy mixes hard-hitting action with warm, funny teamwork, following people who know how to train, how to lose and how to get back up. It is a story about purpose after the podium, loyalty under pressure and the stubborn belief that a good heart can still win a dirty fight.
