Overview
Baek Ah-jin has everything the world admires: beauty, talent and a dazzling rise to the top. Behind that perfect image, though, is a woman who reads other people’s hearts with unsettling ease and uses what she finds to get what she wants. Dear X follows her climb through love, ambition and revenge, as the people around her — admirers, rivals and former allies — discover how much they have given up for her, and how little she intends to give back. The drama is dark, stylish and deliberately uncomfortable, asking what happens when charm becomes a weapon and success is built on other people’s sacrifices. As Ah-jin’s past catches up with her and the people she has hurt begin to fight back, the story turns into a tense game of masks, secrets and consequences. It is a gripping psychological thriller about desire, power and the price of perfection.
