Overview
Seo Munju has spent her career representing South Korea on the world stage, but nothing in her time as a diplomat — not even her years as ambassador to the United Nations — prepares her for the day a presidential candidate is assassinated before her eyes. As she digs into the killing, Munju uncovers a conspiracy that stretches from Seoul to the White House, involving spies, state secrets and people she thought she could trust. At her side is Paik Sanho, an international special agent with a past of his own, hired to protect her as the danger closes in. Together they must untangle a web of deception where every ally could be an enemy and every truth comes at a price. Tempest is a sleek, high-stakes political thriller about loyalty, betrayal and the cost of doing the right thing when the whole world is watching.

Why Watch Tempest?
Tempest is worth watching for the sheer scale of its ambition: a Korean political thriller with international scope, a blockbuster cast and a central pairing that crackles. Gianna Jun brings steel and vulnerability to Seo Munju, and Gang Dong-won is magnetic as the guarded agent protecting her. The plotting is twisty without losing its emotional core, asking who you can trust when power itself is on the line. If you like spy thrillers with real stakes and a romance simmering underneath, Tempest delivers.
