Overview
One fateful day, a blinding flash of light petrifies every human on Earth. Thousands of years later, high schooler Taiju awakens in a world of stone statues and overgrown ruins — and discovers he is not alone. His science-obsessed friend Senku Ishigami has been awake for months, and he has a grand plan: rebuild civilization from scratch using the power of science. From soap and glass to electricity, medicine, and even a telephone, Senku’s Kingdom of Science races to revive humanity one invention at a time. Standing in his way is Tsukasa, a powerful warrior who believes only the strong deserve to wake, along with rival kingdoms, a mysterious petrification device, and the ultimate question of why humanity turned to stone at all. Dr. Stone turns real science into the most exciting weapon in anime, blending survival adventure, comedy, and genuine wonder across four seasons.
