Overview
By day, Elliot Alderson is a cybersecurity engineer; by night, a vigilante hacker who protects the people he cares about from the shadows of his computer screen. Elliot lives with social anxiety and a fractured sense of reality, and he narrates his life directly to us — an audience he may or may not be imagining. When the mysterious anarchist known as Mr. Robot recruits him into fsociety, a secret hacker collective plotting to erase the world’s debt by destroying the data of the giant conglomerate E Corp, Elliot is pulled into a revolution with consequences far bigger than code. Created by Sam Esmail, Mr. Robot is a paranoid, stylish thriller about loneliness, capitalism and control — a show whose twists rewire everything you thought you understood, and whose final season lands as one of the most ambitious endings in television.
