Overview

Two hundred years in the future, humanity has colonized the solar system — and split into three hostile camps: Earth, Mars and the Belt. When ice hauler Jim Holden and his crew stumble on a derelict ship hiding a terrible secret, and detective Joe Miller investigates the disappearance of heiress Julie Mao, their separate trails converge on a conspiracy that could ignite war across the system. Based on the novels by James S. A. Corey, The Expanse is hard science fiction done right: ships obey physics, gravity is a weapon, and politics is as dangerous as any alien threat. Across six seasons it grows from a noir mystery into an epic about first contact, revolution and survival — anchored by a superb ensemble and the unforgettable crew of the Rocinante.
