Overview

Where’s Wanda? begins with every parent’s worst fear and turns it into a darkly funny crime caper. When teenager Wanda Klatt vanishes, her parents Dedo and Carlotta decide they cannot simply wait for the authorities to find her, so they launch their own amateur investigation. Posing as workers for an electrical company, they plant listening devices around their quiet suburb and start eavesdropping on the neighbors they thought they knew. What they hear is far stranger than they expected: behind every tidy front door sits a secret, a lie, or a double life. Blending suspense with sharp, awkward humor, the German-language series keeps its family at the center even as the spying spirals out of control. It is a story about how far parents will go for a child, and how little anyone really knows about the people next door.
