The Seven Deadly Sins

2014 • TMDB 8.4 • 4 seasons • Animation, Action & Adventure, Sci-Fi & Fantasy

Overview

Ten years ago, the Seven Deadly Sins — the kingdom of Britannia’s most feared order of knights — were blamed for a coup and supposedly wiped out. In truth, they scattered. When the Holy Knights seize power and imprison the king, Princess Elizabeth escapes and sets out to find the Sins, beginning with their cheerful, pint-sized captain, Meliodas, who runs a travelling tavern with his talking pig, Hawk. Reuniting the Sins — the giant Diane, the immortal Ban, the fairy king Harlequin, the mage Merlin, the doll-like Gowther, and the fallen angel Escanor — Elizabeth’s quest becomes a war for Britannia’s soul. Across four seasons, the Sins battle the Ten Commandments, ancient demons, and the Demon King himself, while Meliodas and Elizabeth’s cursed, centuries-spanning love story unfolds. The Seven Deadly Sins mixes big fantasy battles, irreverent humor, and genuine heart into a binge-worthy epic.
