Overview
Tad and the Magic Lamp sends the world’s most accident-prone archaeologist on his most chaotic adventure yet. When Tad Jones stumbles into an ancient spell tied to a mysterious lamp, a routine discovery quickly turns into a race across time and treasure-filled ruins. Sara Lavrof is back at his side, sharp, brave and far more organised than Tad deserves, while Momia, Jeff and Belzoni add jokes, loyalty and a healthy amount of panic. Director Enrique Gato keeps the set pieces bright and fast, from collapsing temples to chases that feel like a Saturday-morning serial with a modern polish. Beneath the slapstick, the film is about learning to take responsibility: Tad cannot simply wish his mistakes away, and every shortcut has a price. That balance of silliness, heart and old-fashioned adventure makes it an easy family watch, especially for younger viewers who love treasure hunts, talking mummies and heroes who trip their way to doing the right thing.
