The Jennifer Hudson Show

2022 • TMDB 5.6 • 5 seasons • Talk

Overview

The Jennifer Hudson Show brings the EGOT winner’s warmth, humor and powerhouse voice to daytime television. Launched in 2022, the syndicated talk show is built around Hudson herself: she opens each episode with music and conversation, welcomes celebrity guests for candid interviews, and leans into the feel-good moments — surprises, games, audience interaction and performances — that have become its signature. Unlike panel shows, this is a single-host showcase, and its tone is deliberately upbeat: Hudson’s curiosity and empathy draw out personal stories, while her own journey from American Idol finalist to Oscar, Emmy and Grammy winner gives the show its undercurrent of encouragement. Episodes move quickly between chat, comedy and music, making it an easy daytime watch that rarely takes itself too seriously — except when a guest’s story genuinely moves the room.
