Overview

Do Bong-soon carries a family gift she never asked for: strength strong enough to bend steel, stop a moving bus, and upend a criminal’s plans in a single, startled swing. She wants a quiet, ordinary life, but fate keeps pushing her toward trouble, first as a bodyguard for the playful gaming-company CEO Ahn Min-hyuk, then as an unlikely protector for her neighborhood when a series of kidnappings darkens its streets. Park Bo-young gives Bong-soon a warm, funny center, balancing slapstick mishaps with genuine courage, while Park Hyung-sik turns Min-hyuk’s mischief into real tenderness and Kim Ji-soo supplies the steady, grounded pull of first love. The show blends romance, workplace comedy, and crime suspense without losing its lightness, and its villains are genuinely menacing enough to raise the stakes. By the finale, Bong-soon has learned that strength is less about lifting heavy things than about choosing, again and again, whom to protect.
