Overview

Gameboys is the Filipino boys’ love series that turned lockdown loneliness into one of the most beloved romances of its generation. Teenage streamer Cairo is used to winning online, but a surprise video call from his new rival Gavreel throws him completely off his game — especially when the handsome stranger asks him out. With the world shut down by the COVID-19 pandemic, their entire relationship has to grow through screens: video calls, chats, and games become the places where teasing turns into trust and friendship turns into something deeper. Around them, a warm circle of friends, family tensions, and everyday worries keeps the story grounded and funny. Across 22 episodes, Gameboys captures the strange intimacy of falling in love at a distance, proving that connection can feel more real than ever when the only way to reach someone is through a screen.
