Overview
Some hospitals run on medicine. This one runs on power. Doctor X: Mafia in White drops a brilliant, enigmatic surgeon named Gye Su-jeong into a hospital ruled by ego, favour-trading and quiet corruption, where saving a life can be the least complicated part of the job. Su-jeong does not play the politics — she does not fail, and she does not compromise — and that makes her both the most dangerous person in the building and the only one some patients can truly count on. Around her, ambitious doctors, administrators and rivals scheme for position while impossible cases keep landing on her operating table. The Korean drama, a remake of the long-running Japanese hit Doctor-X, blends tense surgery sequences with boardroom warfare, asking what happens when a healer refuses to bend in a system built to be bent. It is slick, sharp and unapologetically dramatic, with a lead performance that carries every stare-down and scalpel stroke.

Why Watch Doctor X: Mafia in White?
If you love medical dramas with a spine of steel, this one delivers. Kim Ji-won’s Su-jeong is a magnetic centre — cool, unbending and impossible to look away from — and the show pairs its operating-room tension with a genuinely juicy power struggle behind the scenes. Every episode raises the stakes: a life on the table, a rival circling, a system trying to break the one person who will not bend. It is bingeable, stylish and full of the kind of righteous, crowd-pleasing moments that made the original a hit.
