Overview

Brothers — originally titled Ang Probinsyano — is one of the longest and most beloved action dramas in Philippine television history. It begins with twin brothers Ador and Cardo Dalisay, both in law enforcement, whose lives are torn apart when Ador is killed after being betrayed by a colleague. Cardo, a provincial SAF trooper, is ordered to assume his brother’s identity and finish the mission Ador left behind, forcing him to live among Ador’s family and friends while carrying a secret that could destroy them all. What follows is a seven-year saga of police work, family loyalty, corruption, and revenge, as Cardo becomes a folk hero to ordinary Filipinos and a constant thorn in the side of powerful enemies. Across more than 1,600 episodes, the show grew from a police procedural into a national institution.
