Where to watch severance? In the US, Severance streams on Apple TV, and is also listed on Apple TV Amazon Channel, according to the title page. The series runs 2 seasons and 19 episodes.
The Short Answer: Apple TV
The streaming answer is Apple TV: the title page lists Apple TV and Apple TV Amazon Channel, so Apple TV is the home on this listing, and viewers who want the whole mystery should start there.
For the full background, see our complete Severance title page.
That single home makes the choice simple, because viewers do not have to compare partial season counts across services, and both seasons are in one place.
2 Seasons and 19 Episodes
With 2 seasons and 19 episodes, Severance follows office workers whose memories are split between work and home, with Season 1 running 9 episodes from February 17, 2022, and Season 2 running 10 episodes with the finale Cold Harbor on March 20, 2025.
The premise is simple to explain and hard to forget, because the severed workers know nothing of their outside lives while at work, and nothing of their work lives when they leave, which turns an ordinary office into a mystery.
New viewers should watch the seasons in order, because the clues, the characters and the secrets all build across the seasons, and Season 2 pays off questions set up in Season 1.
Free Trials and Bundles: Check the Current Offer
No free-trial length or bundle price is given on this title page, so this article does not state a trial length or a bundle price, and readers should check Apple TV’s current offer before subscribing, because trial and bundle terms change.
If Apple TV is offering a trial when you check, that trial is a good way to test the first season, because the opening episodes show whether the show’s slow, tense style suits you.
If you already subscribe to Apple TV through Amazon Channels, check that route too, because the title page lists Apple TV Amazon Channel as well as Apple TV itself.
When comparing bundles, look at the total cost and the other services included, because a bundle only saves money if you actually use what it adds, and the Severance seasons themselves are the same on Apple TV either way.
Why Severance Rewards Patience
Severance rewards patience, because the office looks calm and ordinary while the mystery deepens, and small details in early episodes turn out to matter later.
The show also stands out for its design, because the clean office, the retro technology and the quiet performances create a world that feels both familiar and strange.
That atmosphere is why the show has become a talking point, because viewers enjoy piecing together the clues and debating what the company is really doing.
Watch Tips
Before you start, search for Severance on Apple TV and confirm that it is still listed there with both seasons, because availability can change, and check that you are starting at Season 1, Episode 1.
If you are new to the series, give it a few episodes, because the pace is deliberate and the mystery builds slowly, and the rewards come from watching the pieces fall into place.
For viewers who want a complete, contained binge, Severance is a strong choice, because both seasons are on Apple TV and the story is tightly plotted, so you can watch the whole run without waiting.
