Where to watch fallout in the US? Fallout streams on Amazon Prime Video (2 seasons) and Amazon Prime Video with Ads (2 seasons), according to the title page, which checked JustWatch US listings on October 30, 2026. Amazon Prime Video Free with Ads and Amazon MX Player are also listed, with 1 season each.
The Short Answer: Prime Video
Fallout is a Prime Video original, so Prime Video is its streaming home in the US. Both seasons are listed there, and that is the service most viewers should check first.
The show follows survivors in a retro-futuristic post-apocalyptic America, where vault dwellers, ghouls and the Brotherhood of Steel collide in a world that is dark, funny and surprisingly human. For the full background on the series, see our complete Fallout title page.
What sets Fallout apart is its tone: it mixes bleak survival drama with dark comedy and a 1950s vision of the future, where cheerful vault propaganda sits alongside violence, greed and strange experiments. That mix is why the series works for viewers who have never played the games as well as for long-time fans.
Prime Video, With Ads and Without
In the US, Fallout streams on Amazon Prime Video (2 seasons) and Amazon Prime Video with Ads (2 seasons). The difference is whether your plan includes ad breaks during playback, but both routes give you access to the same two seasons.
Amazon Prime Video Free with Ads is also listed, with 1 season, and Amazon MX Player is listed with 1 season as well. That means a free, ad-supported route may only cover part of the series, so check exactly which season is included before you start watching there.
Plan names and availability can change, so check Prime Video’s official listing before you subscribe, and confirm that both seasons are available in your region.
Seasons, in Order
Fallout has run for 2 seasons and 16 episodes, according to the title page. Season 1 ran for 8 episodes, premiering on April 10, 2024, and Season 2 ran for 8 episodes, premiering on December 16, 2025.
Watching in order matters, because the second season builds on the first season’s revelations about the vaults, the surface world and the factions fighting over what remains of America. New viewers should start at the beginning, while returning fans can rewatch the first season to catch the clues they missed.
The title page also notes that a DVD and Blu-ray edition is available from Amazon, which is an option for viewers who want a physical copy to keep, rather than relying on a streaming subscription.
Free Trials and Downloads
Prime Video’s trial offers change over time, so if you are hoping to try the service before paying, check Prime Video’s official site for its current trial offer and terms. Do not assume a trial length or eligibility, because those details are set by the service and can change.
For offline viewing, Prime Video’s app lets subscribers download episodes where the app offers downloads, so you can watch on a plane or away from Wi-Fi. Check the app’s download option on the episode you want to watch, because download availability can vary.
Before you subscribe, it is worth deciding how you want to watch: a full Prime Video subscription gives you both seasons in one place, while a free, ad-supported route may only give you part of the story, so the full subscription is usually the simpler choice for a complete watch.
