Overview
In the quiet city of Haeseong, life is supposed to be ordinary — until a group of local townies suddenly finds itself in possession of extraordinary powers. At the center of the chaos is Eun Chae-ni, the smart, polite and diligent granddaughter of a wealthy restaurant owner, who never asked to be a hero and is far more comfortable keeping order than breaking it. Around her, a mismatched band of neighbors, friends and rivals must learn what their new abilities can do, and just as importantly, what they cannot. As doomsday panic spreads and a rising evil gathers strength, their well-meaning attempts to help keep going wrong in spectacular, funny and occasionally dangerous ways. The Wonderfools is less a story about chosen ones than about unchosen ones: ordinary people handed impossible power at the worst possible moment and forced to grow up fast. Across eight brisk episodes, the series mixes slapstick comedy, superhero spectacle and genuine warmth, asking whether heroism is about strength at all — or about showing up for your community when it would be easier to run.

Why Watch The Wonderfools?
- A superhero story built on ordinary people, not polished heroes — the comedy comes from the gap between their powers and their skills.
- Park Eun-bin leads a charming ensemble as Eun Chae-ni, the reluctant heart of the group.
- Eight episodes make it a tight, binge-friendly limited series with a complete arc.
- It balances slapstick and spectacle with real warmth about community and responsibility.
- A fresh Korean take on the genre, with doomsday stakes played for both laughs and heart.
