Overview

In a ruined city of the dead, far from any living civilization, a single human child grows up among the undead. His name is Will, and his guardians are a skeleton warrior named Blood, a mummified priestess named Mary, and a ghostly sorcerer named Gus. They raise him with love, teach him swordplay, magic and faith, and hide the truth of their own pasts — until the day Will begins to ask who he really is. Leaving the city behind, he swears an oath to a god, takes up the path of the paladin, and sets out to protect the living from the darkness that consumed his home. Across two seasons, The Faraway Paladin follows Will from a sheltered boy in a dead city to a young lord defending the living, in a fantasy that trades flashy battles for warmth, faith and the question of what makes a good life.
