Overview
Eight years after The Dark Knight, Bruce Wayne has retired his cape, broken in body and spirit. Gotham, meanwhile, has built a fragile peace on a lie. Then Bane arrives — a masked mercenary of terrifying strength and conviction — and the city falls in a single, devastating stroke.
