Overview
At Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital, Dr. Gregory House is the doctor other doctors call when every answer has failed. Brilliant, abrasive and addicted to painkillers, House treats every patient as a puzzle and every colleague as a suspect, because as he insists, everybody lies. With his team of young diagnosticians, he chases impossible symptoms through wrong turns, risky gambles and last-minute revelations, while his friendship with oncologist James Wilson and his battles with hospital administrator Lisa Cuddy give the medicine its human cost. House is a medical drama built like a detective story, where the mystery is the human body and the detective is the most difficult man in the hospital.

Why Watch House?
House is the rare procedural that is as addictive as its hero’s painkillers: every episode is a clever mystery, and Hugh Laurie’s performance turns a deeply flawed man into one of television’s most magnetic leads. The show balances sharp wit, genuine emotion and medical puzzles that keep you guessing until the final scene. If you love detective stories with bite, House will have you hooked from the first differential diagnosis.
