    Overview

Binnelanders is South Africa’s long-running Afrikaans soap, set in and around the fictional private hospital Binneland Kliniek in Pretoria. For two decades it has followed the doctors, nurses and patients whose professional crises and private lives collide in the wards, the boardroom and at home. Romance, rivalry, betrayal and medical emergencies drive daily episodes that end on the kind of cliffhanger that keeps viewers returning the next day.

The show’s strength is its ensemble. Characters such as Dr. At Koster and Dr. Tertius Jonker have anchored thousands of episodes, while new arrivals regularly shake up the hospital’s hierarchy. Whether a storyline turns on a risky surgery, a family secret or a forbidden affair, Binnelanders plays it with the warmth and melodrama that have made it a kykNET institution since 2005.

    Creator and Main Cast

Created by Human Stark and Elsje Stark. Main cast includes Hans Strydom as Dr. At Koster, Reynardt Hugo as Dr. Tertius Jonker, Je-ani Swiegelaar as Naomi Koster, Hykie Berg as Dr. Conrad Bester, Nadia Valvekens as Pippa, Germandt Geldenhuys as Louis Koster, and Ben Kruger as Okkert Ferreira.

    Tomorrow Is Ours poster

    Overview

Set in the Mediterranean town of Sète, Tomorrow Is Ours (Demain nous appartient) follows the intertwined lives of its families, where everyday rivalries and romances sit alongside police investigations, secrets and betrayals. The show’s long-running cast makes its world feel lived-in: viewers watch children grow up, couples form and break, and old wounds resurface just when peace seems possible.

What sets it apart from a standard soap is its crime backbone. A missing person, a suspicious death or a family secret can run for weeks, giving each daily episode a cliffhanger that pulls the next one forward. With more than 2,000 episodes, it is a show you can dip into for a storyline or follow daily for years — the town of Sète rewards both kinds of viewer.

    Creator and Main Cast

Created by Eline Le Fur, Laure de Colbert, Nicolas Durand-Zouky, Fabienne Lesieur and Frédéric Chansel. Main cast includes Ingrid Chauvin as Chloé Delcourt, Alexandre Brasseur as Alex Bertrand, Lorie Pester as Lucie Salducci, Samy Gharbi as Karim Saeed, Solène Hébert as Victoire Lazzari, and Clément Remiens as Maxime Delcourt.

    Seasons Snapshot

    • Season 1 (2017– ) — The Delcourt and Bertrand families anchor the new TF1 serial in Sète.
    • Season 2 — Expanding storylines bring new families, romances and criminal cases to town.
    • Season 3 (2026) — The current season continues the serial’s mix of family drama and investigation.

    Why Watch Tomorrow Is Ours

Because it is France’s most addictive daily drama: a sunny setting, a huge ensemble you come to know by name, and mysteries that keep daily episodes moving. If you enjoy long-form soaps with a crime edge, Sète is an easy place to settle into.
