Overview
Taro Sakamoto was once the most feared hitman in the underworld — until he fell in love, retired, and settled down to run a small neighborhood convenience store with his wife Aoi and their daughter Hana. These days he is soft-spoken, a little round, and obsessed with grocery discounts. But a legendary past is hard to leave behind: when old enemies and a bounty put his family in danger, Sakamoto has to dust off his skills without breaking his promise to never kill again. Joined by Shin Asakura, a former hitman who can read minds, and the chaotic Lu Shaotang, he turns everyday errands into wild, inventive action. Sakamoto Days is a hilarious, high-energy comedy about a family man who just happens to be the deadliest person in the room.
