Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc (2025)
2025 • TMDB 8.5 • 1h 40m • Animation, Action, Romance, Fantasy
Overview
Denji has learned to survive in a world where devils, hunters and secret enemies all want something from him, but he has never learned how to be loved. That changes when Reze walks into his life: warm, funny and dangerously mysterious, she offers him the ordinary happiness he has always chased — a quiet evening, a shared meal, a hand to hold. Tatsuya Yoshihara’s film turns that fragile romance into the heart of a brutal, blood-soaked spectacle, where every tender moment sharpens the danger waiting underneath. MAPPA’s animation is explosive and expressive, swinging from intimate close-ups to ferocious chainsaw combat without losing Denji’s loneliness or hope. Reze Arc is both a thrilling continuation of Chainsaw Man and a tragic love story about wanting a normal life in a world that will not allow one.
