Overview
Fourteen-year-old Elias has always felt like an outsider in his quiet Belgian village, unsure of where he fits and quietly wrestling with feelings he cannot yet name. Everything changes when Alexander, a confident new neighbor his own age, moves in next door. Drawn to Alexander’s warmth and ease, Elias begins to understand his own heart — and to face the fear, joy and confusion that come with a first love. Told with tenderness and honesty, Anthony Schatteman’s coming-of-age drama captures that fragile summer between childhood and growing up, when a single friendship can change how you see yourself forever.
