Overview
When Meredith Grey walked into Seattle Grace Hospital as a surgical intern in 2005, nobody could have predicted she would still be saving lives — and breaking hearts — more than two decades later. Grey’s Anatomy follows the doctors of Grey Sloan Memorial through impossible surgeries, hospital politics, devastating losses, and love stories that refuse to stay tidy. At its core is Meredith, a brilliant surgeon shaped by her famous mother, her found family of fellow doctors, and the tragedies that keep remaking her. Around her, generations of interns have grown into attendings, chiefs, and legends of their own. The show has survived cast departures, disasters, and reinventions by doing what it has always done best: putting flawed, funny, fiercely loyal people in scrubs and letting the operating room test everything they believe about work, love, and themselves.

Why Watch Grey’s Anatomy?
Grey’s Anatomy is television’s great long game. Few shows reward loyalty like this one: characters you meet as nervous interns become mentors, parents, and hospital leaders over hundreds of episodes, and the show’s famous emotional gut-punches land harder because you have lived with these people for years. It is also endlessly watchable — every episode pairs a gripping medical case with a personal crisis, and the Seattle setting, the music, and the dark humor give it a warmth that keeps new viewers coming back. Whether you start at season 1 or jump into the current season, Grey Sloan Memorial is a world that is easy to enter and hard to leave.
