Overview
Three married couples have been vacationing together for decades, marking the year with four seasonal trips that have become a beloved ritual. But when one couple divorces, the group’s carefully balanced dynamic is thrown into disarray — and every getaway becomes a test of loyalty, honesty, and how well old friends really know each other. The Four Seasons, created by Lang Fisher, Tracey Wigfield, and Tina Fey for Netflix, is based on the classic 1981 film and brings its premise into the present with warmth and wit. Fey stars alongside Steve Carell, Colman Domingo, Will Forte, Kerri Kenney, and Marco Calvani as friends whose long history makes every joke land harder and every conflict cut deeper. Across its episodes, the series finds comedy in midlife — in marriages, friendships, and the strange comfort of traditions — while never losing sight of the affection at its center.

Why Watch The Four Seasons?
The Four Seasons is worth watching because its cast is a comedy dream team, and the show gives every one of them room to shine. Tina Fey and Steve Carell anchor the series with the easy chemistry of old friends, while Colman Domingo, Will Forte, and Kerri Kenney steal scenes throughout. The seasonal-trip structure keeps the settings fresh — a lake house, a ski lodge, a beach weekend — and lets the humor grow out of character rather than contrivance. It is also a rare comedy about adults navigating real change: divorce, aging, and the friendships that survive both. Funny, warm, and beautifully acted, The Four Seasons is easy, grown-up comfort viewing.
