Overview
The Eternaut is a gripping Argentine science-fiction drama from creator Bruno Stagnaro, based on the classic comic by Héctor Germán Oesterheld. After a devastating toxic snowfall wipes out millions in Buenos Aires, ordinary man Juan Salvo joins a small band of survivors fighting a hidden alien threat — and discovers that no one survives alone. Ricardo Darín leads a powerful cast through six tense episodes, blending large-scale disaster spectacle with an intimate story of friendship, family, and resistance. The series captures the comic’s spirit while giving it a modern, cinematic scope, with snowbound streets, desperate choices, and a mystery that deepens with every episode. If you love grounded, character-driven sci-fi with real stakes, The Eternaut is one of the most distinctive international series of the year.
